'I hate hospitals,' Owen grumbled, shifting impatiently in the hard plastic chair.
Gwen sighed. 'You'd think you of all people would be used to them.'
She'd drawn the short straw, staying here with Owen. It wasn't that he needed company, only that Jack didn't want him terrorising some poor junior doctor.
'I could've fixed this myself,' he said, cradling the broken arm.
'No, you couldn't,' she argued.
'Only cause I can't trust any of you idiots to follow instructions and do it properly. You'd have my arm set backwards.'
'So, be glad we'll only be inflicted on your dead patients.'
