Notes: Jack and Tosh thought fixing the ship would be a piece of cake.

'Oh, boy,' Jack sighed, holding the panel he'd just removed before setting it down.

That was an understatement, Toshiko thought, seeing the internal workings of the ship for herself. She expected it would be the height of modern technology, all neat and minimalist. Instead it was a maze of tangled cabling, wires and circuit boards. It was like the engineer who'd built it had connected it all up and then just shoved the whole lot inside, slamming the panel shut, like an overstuffed suitcase.

'Where do we even start?' Tosh asked.

Jack grabbed a tool. 'I somehow doubt it matters.'
