Notes: Coat takes its duties very seriously.

Coat gave a sigh as Jack stepped out onto the street. Another day of rain, it thought, bracing for impact as heavy droplets began to pummel its grey wool.

Thick and sturdy as it was, after the last few days, there was nothing Ianto could do to help Coat dry out in between adventures. It felt twice its usual weight, and tried its best not to hang heavily on Jack's shoulders, though he seemed not to notice. Coat took his nonchalance to heart.

They'd been through a lot together. At least it could try to keep one of them dry.

Brave, loyal, noble, self-sacrificing Coat! I think the Rift better hurry up and deliver an alien drying chamber to Torchwood as soon as possible so that Coat can dry off between trips out in the Welsh rain. Wet as it is right now, it'll have a tough job flaring heroically.
