Notes: Ianto is determined to recruit a new doctor for Torchwood. A double drabble.

Ianto was surprised at how quite the hospital was. He supposed that was because this wasn't A and E and that it was a Wednesday morning. Getting a plaster cast removed wasn't an emergency, though he'd had days when he'd been desperate to saw it off himself. A broken arm was not his idea of fun and had been a nuisance more than anything.

More importantly was his other task, to find the young doctor who'd seen him six weeks ago to set his arm and to offer him a job. He's a doctor, not a replacement for Owen, Ianto kept telling himself. No one could replace Owen.

Jack was ambivalent about the whole thing, neither agreeing to hiring the young man nor opposing it. But the truth remained that they needed a doctor, and Ianto had a feeling that he'd be a good fit. He'd already confirmed the doctor was on shift; he just had to find him.  

He didn't want to have to spend half his life in A and E every time one of them got injured in the line of duty. Plus, people would start asking questions. No one got injured that frequently without being crazy.
