Notes: Jack is looking forward to going undercover. Ianto less so. A double drabble.

'You know,' Jack called out as he pawed through his wardrobe, 'I'm actually really excited to be going on assignment. It'll be fun pretending to be someone else. Even better, I get to pretend to be married to you. Plus I get to pull out a few of these old things and dress up for the occasion. Much as I love my usual look, it's nice to have a change. And I can't wait to see you in something, let's say, a little more casual?'

'It's always the little things that excite you, isn't it?' Ianto replied, still in the bathroom shaving. He only hoped Jack's undercover wardrobe choices had improved since their last outing.

'What do you think?' Jack asked, coming to stand in the doorway and show off his outfit. The blue and red striped suit jacket was mismatched with a equally striped shirt and the most hideous brown brogues. Then there were the black and white chequered pants and the garish red tie. It screamed seventies door to door encyclopedia salesman.

'So?' Jack persisted, trying to get a read on Ianto's facial expression.

Ianto sighed. 'Yep. It's true what they say after all. Less is definitely more.'

Jack will blind everyone he meets in that outfit. I think maybe Ianto had better choose his clothes...
