Notes: Jack is excited at the prospect of a new recruit. A double drabble.

'Good news, Tosh,' Jack said, beaming as he entered the hub. 'I think our twosome is about to become a threesome.'

She turned to look at him. 'It is?'

'Oh, don't get me wrong, I love what we've got going on here, but let's face it, there's a lot for just two people to handle.'

She nodded, unable to deny the workload that was always increasing. The rift seemed to have taken offense to their efforts to contain it. 'Anyone I know?'

Jack leaned back against the railing. 'Suzie Costello. Private investigator. Or at least she was.'

'You offered her a job?'

'In a manner of speaking. I mean, she thinks it's a complete accident that we met, but I had the thing set up from the get go. All that flirting she did was a complete waste of effort, not that I don't appreciate a well-turned leg. But she's got attitude.'

'Sounds like you did quite a bit of research.'

'Torchwood's not a job for the faint-hearted. You know that better than anyone.'

'So, when does she start?'

'Just as soon as she figures out what Torchwood is and where to find us. My idea of a job interview.'
