Notes: Torchwood's latest inmate is proving to be an interesting case. A double drabble.
Owen watched Max through the perspex door as he beat against it with his fists. Glad you're on the other side of that, mate, he thought. Even with a stun gun in hand, Jack had been bloody lucky not to get knifed by the massive brute. He was one guy Owen didn't want to meet in a dark alley.
He'd tried everything to get Max to talk but nothing was working. The only time he got a reaction was when he'd told him he was at Torchwood. It might have been coincidence except that he'd done it twice now. Just gone mental for about ten seconds, trying to break down the door and then back to normal, if you could call it that.
Max got it out of his system and sat back down, staring off into space, like nothing had just happened. The guy was simple, no doubt about it. Why Suzie would ever get involved with him was anybody's guess.
'Anything from Max?' Jack asked, entering the room.
'Depends on whether you believe a single word can trigger a violent episodic psychosis,' he replied.
Jack frowned at their prisoner. 'What word would that be?'
'Take a wild guess.'
