'Just hold these for me, will you?' Jack asked, dumping a heap of files into Ianto's arms.

Ianto glanced at them with a discerning eye. 'I hope you're going to tell me that these are completed and signed off, ready for filing.'

Jack shoved his hands in his pockets. 'Um... Okay, so they're not entirely complete.'

'Jack, you promised! What have you be doing all day if not these?'

'I was holding out hope that maybe the rift might steal them.'

'You shouldn't even say things like that,' Ianto chastised. 'Besides, the hub is protected from that sort of thing.'

Poor Jack, looking for any miracle to get him out of doing paperwork. No such luck.

Good thing too, it would muck up Ianto's system if paperwork kept being swallowed by the Rift while other unknown items randomly appeared.
