Summary: Rhiannon is keen to rekindle an old tradition.

'Ianto!' Rhiannon called from the spare room whilst he and Jack were still downstairs finishing helping the kids trim the tree. 'Got a minute?'

He exchanged a curious glance with Jack before relinquishing the bauble in his hand and heading upstairs. 'What?'

'I fished out the christmas jumpers and mittens. Found them when we were clearing up. I can't believe I'd forgotten about these. We haven't worn them for years.'

Ianto picked one up and managed to poke a finger through a hole created by silverfish. 'You can hardly tell,' he quipped. 'I'd forgotten how terrible they were, or perhaps I'd retconned them from my consciousness. That would be the smart thing to do.'

'Oh, don't be such a Grinch. It's just for one day. A little bit of fun.'

'Fun being mocked and looking ridiculous. Whatever you do, just don't let Jack-'

'Jack!' Rhiannon called out. 'Would you like to see our Christmas jumpers?'

Jack bounded out from nowhere, already decked out in his Santa hat. 'Oh! Those are just the most adorable... Look at the little reindeer on them, Ianto!'

Ianto sighed. 'Great, now you've gone and done it, Rhi. Thanks for that.'

'You'll look so cute in this on Christmas day,' Jack insisted

'I'm too old for looking cute, thankfully. We wouldn't have worn these for at least a decade.'

'All the more reason to rekindle the tradition,' Rhiannon suggested, thrusting the red and white patterned knit back towards him.

'Jack will feel left out if we wear these.'

'Are you kidding?' Jack said, his phone already in his hand. 'I'm going to get straight onto Ebay and order a matching jumper. Just look at them all! Who knew there were so many? If I'd known I'd have bought a stack of these for us years ago!'
