Notes: It's time to give Myf her first taste of freedom. A double drabble.

'Are you sure this is a good idea, Jack?' Suzie asked, a worried frown on her face.

'I don't think we've got much choice,' he replied. 'Unless you like having that hub turned into a war zone. God knows if I have Ianto give me one more of those annoyed looks, I think he may shoot me. She's a wild animal. I can't blame her for getting a little stir crazy.'

'No, I get that, but, letting a pterodactyl loose over the city? What if someone sees her?'

'It's nighttime. Hopefully that'll be enough. Plus apart from us, I don't think she's too keen on people. That should avoid us worrying about her wanting to window shop on St Mary's Street. She's a bird. She needs to stretch her wings,' he added, pulling back the enormous hatch.

'And if she doesn't come back?'

'She gets two square meals a day and a dry bed. Not to mention being spoiled by Ianto with chocolate. I think she'll be back.'

Suzie stood well back as she heard the creature waddling towards them.

'Here, girl. A night out on the town.'

Myfanwy quickly saw the open sky and took flight, squawking in delight.
