Summary: Jack's knows what hell is. A double drabble.

Jack slumped back on the sofa, staring uselessly at the television he'd just shoved his boot through. It flickered and sparked as the broken cathode ray tubes fought to hold on, but their death was as inevitable as his undying was. At least the flickering damage was better than the image that had been portrayed.

Hell. This was hell, so the man with the matches had told him. His special kind of hell where the terrible things that he'd done would be repeated over and over until it drove him mad. He couldn't tell what was meant to be real and what wasn't. He knew Alex wasn't real. Alex was dead and there was nothing he could do about that. It wasn't his fault. Alex had killed his team, not Jack. He'd be dead too if he could have been able to die.

This wasn't hell yet. Hell would have to try harder than that if it wanted to punish him for his sins. There were so much worse things it could do to him. This thing wouldn't beat him, whatever it was, hell or otherwise. Just so long as he could remind himself that none of it was real.
