Title: Serial cheater
Author: m_findlow
Characters: Jack, Ianto
Rating: PG
Challenge: 593 - Champion at tw100
Notes: Ianto knows he shouldn't trust Jack not to cheat. A double drabble.
'Ha!' Jack cried out. 'I win again!' He leaned back in his chair and threw back the last mouthfuls from his bottle of beer. 'I'm enjoying these Friday night games date nights you came up with, Ianto. Though I have to say, when you suggested them I assumed you were better at this. Not that I mind being the ultimate champion of board games. It'd just be nice if this was a bit more of a competition. It's almost like you're not even trying.'
Ianto sipped his scotch slowly, letting it burn all the way down whilst he contemplated just how annoyed he should be at Jack. Monopoly, Ludo, Chinese checkers, Trivial Pursuit, Cluedo - all games Ianto had assumed it would be impossible for Jack to cheat at. He was watching the board the whole time. Even Jack's sneaky sleight of hand was no match for Ianto's keen eye.
'I swear you cheated. Again.'
Jack feigned shock. 'Ianto! I would never and have never cheated.'
'Absolute bollocks,' Ianto replied, setting down his empty glass. 'You're a serial card counter, which is why we don't play cards anymore.'
'Sounds like loser talk to me.'
Ianto glared. 'This time I'm the banker.'
