Summary: Kathy wishes Torchwood would stop apologising for making her life difficult. A double drabble.
'Delivery for you, ma'am,' one of the sergeants said, popping her head in Kathy's doorway.
'Delivery?'
'One of your regulars,' she clarified.
Please, not again, Kathy thought. 'Tell them thanks but no thanks.'
'Oh, trust me. You're going to want to accept this gift.'
Kathy groaned and pushed up from her desk. She didn't necessarily believe that. There was only one organisation that made deliveries and she didn't always like what came of it. She was forever owed an apology for something Torchwood had done to make her life difficult. Her boss, though slightly more accepting that there were things outside of her control, still didn't always like hearing it direct from her.
'What on earth?' she muttered as she came out into the hallway. There, standing at the reception counter, was the Welsh equivalent of a Chippendale she expected in a club on a Friday night. Kathy rolled her eyes as the topless man in silver spandex pants handed over a large hamper. She hoped it was chocolates and not something a little more fruity, given the delivery boy attached to it. This had Harkness's fingerprints all over it.
'I hate it when Jones goes on holiday,' she muttered.
