Notes: Ianto doesn't shoot spiders in the bathtub either. A double drabble.

'Spider in the shower!' Jack screeched at the top of his lungs.

Jack was in the hallway when Ianto finally plodded up the stairs, having first turned off everything on the stove lest it burn or catch fire when he wasn't there. He wasn't armed with anything to tackle a spider yet, first needing to determine how big it was. With Jack, every spider was huge, and all of them deadly.

'Where exactly in the shower?'

Jack pointed emphatically into the room, not prepared to get any closer. 'Right near the plug hole.'

Ianto stepped inside, seeing the patch of brown Jack was referring to, before opening the shower door to get a closer look.

'Stand down, Captain. It's just a wad of hair that's gotten balled up trying to go down the plug hole.' Ianto picked it up so he could out it in the bin, but first held it out for Jack to see just to prove it wasn't a deadly arachnid.

'Wow. It did a really good impression of a spider. I was totally creeped out by a ball of hair?'

'I'm still chalking it up as having heroically saved you from a fate worse than death.'
