Notes: Ianto is apparently too old for kids rides. A double drabble.

Ianto sputtered his indignation as the acne-pocked teenager in the ridiculous red and white stripe uniform held the gate shut.

'Are you accompanying a minor under the age of fifteen?' the youth asked him.

'No, but-'

'Then I'm afraid you can't come through,' he replied. 'Children under fifteen and their parents, guardians, whatever, only.'

Ianto couldn't believe what he was hearing. 'It's a merry-go-round! Since when do you have an age restriction?'

'Got to protect people from pedophiles and the like. Not saying you're a pedophile, but...'  

Ianto felt strong hands grip him around his waist, preventing him from lunging into a physical and verbal tirade. Apparently happy couples were now being criminalised.

'Back away, Ianto,' Jack's voice pleaded in his ear. 'Let's leave the nice horses for the little kids. I'll buy you an ice-cream to make up for it.'

Ianto twisted out of his grip. 'I don't want an ice-cream. I wanted to enjoy a day at the fun park. Next they'll be saying we're not allowed candy floss either.'

'We'll have ice-cream and candy floss and burgers,' Jack promised. 'And then we'll go hit the roller-coaster and pirate ship, where the only restriction is don't throw up.'
