Notes: Ianto wishes the rain would stay outside. A double drabble.

Ianto growled as he forced the mop across the floor, sweeping away the latest puddles as they accumulated in the tourist office.

How many times was he going to have to ask Jack to fix the damn guttering? Every time it rained, there was always at least a few drops that found a way inside, and every time he looked up from where they seemed to come from, he made sure to add extra sealant.

There was no amount of sealant going to fix this, however. It had been raining non-stop for four days now, an annual tradition in Cardiff that Ianto dreaded. It was bad enough trying to drive in when the roads were covered in inches of water, but the tourist office was always the weather's worst victim. He could sandbag it, have buckets and containers at the ready and seal every gap with rags but nothing seemed to work.

'All this advanced alien technology at our disposal and we can't even prevent the weather from getting inside,' he grumbled, squeezing the mop out again. Honestly, there was more water in the buckets on the floor than there was in the one he was using to mop up!
