Notes: Being the boss doesn't always work in Jack's favour. A double drabble.

'And where do you think you're going?' came the rhetorical question as Jack looked amost set to sneak out through the tourist office door.

He spun and quickly shoved his hands in his pockets, plastering a congenial smile across his face. 'Ianto! I... Thought you were still working downstairs.' His smiled widened a little further in a sure sign of guilt.

'Our cover doesn't work very well if the pamphlets are six months out of date.' He added a fresh stack to a now empty holder and straightened a second pile on the counter. He paused just long enough to raise a curious glance in Jack's direction. 'You didn't answer my question.'

'I was, uh... just going out for a break.'

Ianto's expression was one of disbelief. 'Didn't you only get back an hour ago?'

'Well sure, but...'

'And before that didn't you say you were out for long breakfast, how did you phrase it? Schmoozing with the new mayor?'

Jack's jaw tightened. 'Trying to make a good impression.'

'Of course. But now you need a break, and what a coincidence that there's all those reports on your desk that need reviewing.'

Jack huffed. 'Who's the boss around here anyway?'
