Summary: Jack isn't having nearly as much fun as his visitors are. A double drabble.

Jack threw a hand up to protect his face as water splashed his sleeve and soaked into his shirt. 'Oi!'

'Oh, lighten up,' Gwen said, smiling at his sodden demeanor. 'It's not like you to be so grumpy.'

Jack frowned down at his damp shirt and then threw his gaze back to the reflection pool stretching alongside the Millennium Centre. Their latest visitors were jumping up and down in the shallow water, splashing and having a blast. Where they were from, water was more precious than diamonds and so despite the cloudy day, they were playing in it like it was high summer.

'We need to move them on,' he stated. 'Then we've got about a hundred onlookers to retcon.' People didn't need to go home and tell people they'd seen two dozen mauve Care Bear lookalikes playing in the water.

'Let them have their fun a little while longer,' Gwen pleaded. They were so cute she couldn't bear to spoil their fun. 'A little dampness is worth it.'

'Ianto can arrange them a paddling pool back at the hub.' He cringed as one of the aliens dive-bombed off the edge and soaked him. 'After he finds me a towel.'
