Notes: Ianto makes a move that benefits both of them. A double drabble.

'Turn left here,' Ianto said, raising himself out of his sleepy stupor from the passenger seat.

'Huh?' Jack said, looking forward to crawling into bed himself. It had been a very long night.

'Left,' Ianto confirmed.

'But that's the wrong way,' Jack argued. One thing he definitely knew was how to get to Ianto's place from anywhere in the city.

'Nope. I moved.'

Jack slammed on the brakes. 'Moved? Since when?'

Ianto shrugged. 'Since about a month ago. I finally traded up from that pokey flat into a proper house.'

'When were you planning on telling me?' He felt affronted that Ianto could keep such big news from him.

'I did update my personnel file.'

Jack rolled his eyes. 'Yeah, because I look at those all the time. You should've said something. I could've helped you move.'

'And then I would've spent twice as long putting everything back where I wanted it.'

'Humph. Next thing you'll move to another country without telling me.'

'Don't be silly. It was meant to be a surprise. I wanted everything in order before bringing you over.'

'Consider me surprised,' Jack muttered.

'Don't sulk. Just wait until you try our brand new king size bed.'
