Summary: Jack is the biggest kid at Halloween. A double drabble.

'I'm ready!' Jack announced, bouncing into the living room dressed in his Halloween costume. This year it was the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, which was fine except for the fact that Jack was leaving little bits of straw all over the house, falling out of his costume where it was meant to be sticking out. Bouncing was something Ianto couldn't condone, since it was only making the problem worse.

'What's that?'  he asked, pointing down at the large orange pumpkin shaped bucket.

Jack looked at him like he was mad. 'My trick or treat bucket. Duh!'

Ianto rolled his eyes. 'Jack, we're taking the kids trick or treating. They're the ones collecting candy, not you.'

Jack's confused look persisted. 'But we can still collect candy as well, can't we?'

'That's not in the spirit of things.'

'But we're all dressed up! There must be some kind of reward for that!'

Ianto rested a hand on his arm. 'I think we need to reintroduce you to the tradition of Halloween. Dressing up is one thing. The candy thing is just for the kids.'

Jack huffed. 'Well, don't you just know how to take all the fun out of it.'

Poor Jack. If he came to my door I'd give him candy. I don't have an age limit. You wear a costume you can have treats!
