Notes: Some things at Torchwood you just never get used to. A double drabble.

Ianto expected many things from the extravagant man he'd signed himself up to work with, but one thing he hadn't counted on was Jack's metabolism. The man devoured food like nobody he'd ever met. The higher the calorie count, the easier it seemed to go down. He'd watched Jack take one bite out of a custard donut, then shove the rest of the confection into his mouth whole. It had taken some doing and two fingers but he got the thing in, cheeks bulging and then swallowed it. Ianto half expected him to choke, readying to go in for the Heimlich maneuver, but he'd simply picked up the takeaway coffee and washed the whole thing down in a horrific act of debauchery.

He made Jack's coffee several times a day and never got used to it. Making coffee was simple, it was the intentional acts of ruining it that Ianto found unpalatable.

He added milk to the quadruple shot concoction, labeled industrial strength, rather like its owner. He was a double shot man himself but Jack took it to another level. He dumped the requisite three teaspoons of sugar in it and stirred. What the boss wanted, the boss got.
