Summary: Owens plans for a weekend for two are scuppered. A double drabble.

Owen checked his watch and flipped off his computer, only halfway through finishing his report. 'Goodbye Torchwood, hello weekend! Just when I thought Friday night was never going to get here.' He leaned back in his chair and lolled his head in Tosh's direction. 'First round of beers is on me tonight. That's how good I'm feeling. So you'd better be telling me you're knocking off in the next five minutes. It's just you and me and the whole of Saturday and Sunday without a weevil or impending disaster in sight.'

Tosh chewed her lip and Owen knew that was never a good sign.

'What?'

'You've forgotten, haven't you?'

'Obviously,' he said, not liking where this was heading.

'Dog sitting?' Tosh said. 'Remember how we agreed to go to Cardiff this weekend to house sit whilst Jack and Ianto went to that conference in Munich?'

How had he forgotten that? Probably because he hated that mutt, or it hated him. One or the other. 'Oh.'

'I'm sure we could still rent a movie or something,' Tosh added hopefully. 'They do have that really big television.'

And a nice bloody sofa, too, Owen remembered. The weekend might not be totally ruined.
