Summary: Driving safely isn't always an option. A double drabble.

Jack squinted through the SUV’s windscreen. 'Is that a car in front of us?'

Ianto struggled to make out anything through the swirling white that beat against the windows let alone the tail lights of traffic in front of them. 'Car, truck, ambulance, the Grand Chancellor hotel on fire… Who knows?'

Jack snorted at the dry humour. 'Talk about a raging blizzard. Think I might pull over before we find out.'

'Good idea. Make sure you stick the hazard lights on. God knows we'll need them in this snowstorm. We could be lit up like a Vegas casino and someone would probably still miss spotting us and run up our backside. The last thing we need is another trip to the panel beaters.'

Jack nodded in agreement. 'Is it just my imagination or are they starting to charge us more each time we go there?'

Ianto sighed. 'That's what we get for using a panel beater run by aliens. I think it's less to do with the severity or frequency of accidents insofar as it's just become hush money.'

'Snake oil merchants,' Jack grumbled. 'Here we are trying to be careful and everything!'

Ianto grimaced. 'Well, some of the time.'
