Summary: Ianto is furious at having to chase after Jack.
Ianto wasn't sure he had any expletives left in his extensive vocabulary left that he could use to describe just how furious he was with Jack. Water dropped off the leaves overhead and somehow found a way into the collar of his shirt. It was far too hot and humid for a coat, but the rain was uncomfortable all the same.
Why couldn't Jack have taken off and needed rescuing somewhere closer to home? Or at least somewhere a little more temperate. The jungles of deepest South America were not on Ianto's list of places to visit.
Jack was in big trouble, that much he knew. Not a word since that last slightly panicked phone call he'd made whilst Ianto was still at the hub two weeks ago, trying to pinpoint Jack's location after he'd taken off without permission on this hare-brained venture. Ianto didn't doubt all kinds of undesirables hid in the jungle - drug cartels, arms dealers, kidnappers, and people who'd stumbled over dangerous alien technology. It wasn't a good bunch to be sharing company with. Still, there were ways of going about it, and then there was Jack's way.
Another drip. Hmm. Maybe water torture would be suitable.
