Summary: Jack is trying to curry favour for a minor bingle. A double drabble.


Tosh looked up from the paper cup that was suddenly slid onto the desk under her nose. 'What's this for?'

Jack gave her his best innocent expression. 'What? Can't I just treat you to a cup of joe without any strings attached?'

Tosh narrowed her eyes at him. 'No, I don't think you can. I expect there's something you've done that I don't know about yet.' She popped off the lid and smelled the aroma of bitter coffee mixed in with a generous sweetness from the extra chocolate sprinkles. 'And that it's probably way worse than one cup of coffee is going to take to forgive,' she added, taking a sip of the piping hot brew.

Suzie sailed past, shucking off her leather coat and draping it over the rail as she slid into the desk opposite Tosh. 'Has he told you he scratched the side of your car when he opened the SUV’s door? I told him he parked too close.'

Jack whirled around on her. 'Sell out!' he yelled. 'I'll remember that.' He turned back to Tosh, looking apologetic. 'The guys at the local auto shop were going to buff it out before you finished work, I promise.'
