Summary: Jack can get anyone to smile for the camera. A double drabble.


'Please, Anwen,' Gwen begged. 'Just a little smile for Mummy,' she said, hunched with her phone trying to snaffle a picture.

Anwen frowned at her and made to run off. Gwen grabbed her just in time, nearly dropping her phone.

'God,' she complained to herself. Just when she'd thought this would be less hassle than trying to make Anwen sit for one of those fancy studio shoots.

'What's happening, Gwen Cooper?' Jack asked, striding across the Plass and grinning as he swept Anwen up into his arms and gave her a big uncle hug.

'Trying to get this little monster to smile for a photo,' she replied. 'Rhys' mum has been nagging the hell out of me.'

'Hold that thought,' Jack said, putting Anwen down and walking past Gwen. She turned but Jack had disappeared, then a few seconds later she heard Anwen giggle. Gwen snapped a picture as Anwen broke into peals of laughter, capturing the moment perfectly.

When Jack reappeared Gwen was confused. 'Where'd you go?'

'Nowhere.'

'Why is your shirt untucked?'

'Oh, that? Took my trousers off and stuck them on my head. Why'd you think Anwen was giggling?'

'Invisible lift?' Gwen asked.

'Doesn't work on kids.'
