Summary: Allergies on an alien world prove problematic. A double drabble.
'Ow!' Ianto cried as Jack slapped his hand. He wasn't used to such petty, painful acts from his husband. It stung more sharply than he cared to admit.
'Don't scratch your nose,' Jack told him in no uncertain terms.
'But it's itchy.' It had been irritating him ever since they'd arrived. He assumed it was some kind of native plant that was giving him hay fever like symptoms, which included, most annoyingly of all, an unshakeable itch just around the inside of his nostrils.
'Live with it,' Jack replied harshly. 'It's a really rude thing to touch your nose around these parts,' he added. 'It makes folks believe you think they smell bad, which is pretty much the worst insult you can give someone.'
Ianto huffed in annoyance. Typical. 'Can I at least blow it with my handkerchief and give it a subtle little scratch that way?' It was only a matter of time before the sneezing made his nose run as well.
'No. Don't even go near your face with your hand. Unless you'd like us to get arrested for insulting some random law enforcement officer wandering by. Again.'
Ianto sighed. It was going to be a long stopover.
