Summary: Everyone loves fresh laundry for different reasons. A double drabble.
Ianto hummed as he carried the basket of freshly laundered towels down the hall. As much as he liked things ironed and pressed, he preferred to save time wherever possible. Laundry ate into what little free time he had. Towels straight from the tumble dryer could be folded and put away and still look like he'd spent half an hour pressing them. He admired his own cleverness and efficiency, dropping the basket for a moment to go and put away the armful of rolled up socks in a drawer. Folding laundry while Jack was showering was a good way to pass the time.
When he came back, his pile of four neatly folded towels had shrunk to three.
The fourth was now becoming rumpled and damp as Jack stood there using it right in front of him. 'I just washed and dried those!' Ianto huffed.
'I know,' Jack said, unashamedly drying himself in front of his lover. 'Why do you think I waited so long for a shower? Nice warm towels straight out of the dryer are the best.' He tied the now damp towel around his waist, grabbing another to dry his hair. 'Thanks for doing them this morning.'
