Summary: Andy though what they've found was bad. A double drabble.
'This had better not be some kind of hazing,' Andy warned Jack as they neared the location of the rift alert. He'd had enough years of Torchwood belittling him in the police. He certainly didn't need it now that he was finally a member of the team.
Jack looked at him in askance, taking his eyes off the road. 'Andy, do I look like the kind of guy that takes pleasure from hazing new recruits?'
Andy grumbled something under his breath. 'I'm just saying.'
'You wanted to get your hands dirty. This is me giving you a one on one chance to do that.' He pulled up the car just short and they got out.
Andy looked around but couldn't see anything. 'I thought you said it was something organic?'
Jack walked over to a pile of something on the road. 'It's organic, alright. And fresh.'
Andy walked over and saw it for himself. 'I don't even want to know how you can tell that,' he said, frowning at the brown mess. 'The rift dumps alien poo on us now?'
'Nope. But whatever came through sure did.'
Andy took in the size of the deposit again. 'Oh, that's just great.'
