Summary: Tosh finally gets to be in the driver's seat. A double drabble.
Tosh sat quietly just soaking in the moment. It really was different, sitting here in the driver's seat, leather bound wheel in front of her and all the power and torque of the SUV's engines at her disposal.
As much as she wouldn't wish illness upon any of her teammates, it was one time when she didn't have to argue about the rota that had never come to fruition, or why it was that only the men of Torchwood were ever allowed to drive, citing the fact that the seat would need constant adjusting, even though Owen was scarcely any taller than her. Admittedly, she did need to bring it forward three notches. Jack and Ianto had considerably longer legs than she gave them credit, it seemed.
She drummed her fingers on the steering wheel for a few moments, just making sure she was happy with all the mirrors being in the right spot. It would be terrible to bingle the car and result in it being her last outing.
Tosh sighed, twisting the key in the ignition and feeling it roar into life. 'Right, four takeaway chicken soups, three boxes of panadol and one long term career goal fulfilled.'
