Summary: Humans are strange if you're an alien. A double drabble.
'Your species is very pale,' the alien visitor told Jack as it watched his team working away in the hub whilst it waited for its ship to refuel. 'Are they well?'
Jack held back a smile. Sometimes he thought humans were so ignorant of the variety of life in the universe but the same applied to aliens who'd never seen humans before. This one had skin so deep red it was almost black.
'They're fine,' Jack assured his guest. 'Our sun isn't nearly as strong as yours so they tend to have very fair skin. Especially here in Cardiff. It's cloudy and cool even in summer. They don't get much exposure to ultraviolet rays. We don't even get time to hang out at the beach.' More's the pity, he thought. They could all do with a nice tan, and he wouldn't mind seeing a few of them wearing a lot less clothes, either.
'You have only one sun?'
'Yup. My team would burn to a crisp on your world with its seven suns.'
The alien glanced over at them again then frowned. 'They're not built very well then, are they?'
Jack smirked. 'Oh, they have their own unique physical attributes.'
