Summary: Torchwood's new pet has a strange way of showing affection. A double drabble.
Jack panicked when he heard the tell from his youngest team member. He might not have except for the fact that two seconds earlier a huge shadow had swept past his office window.
He was still worried he'd made the wrong decision to keep Myfanwy around the hub. She was a wild animal, and a prehistoric one at that. Perhaps getting Suzie to try and house train her had been a foolish gambit. She was bigger than any of them and far more powerful. If she wanted to hurt you, she could. Maybe even kill.
His fears were confirmed as he found her crushing Ianto underneath her body, using her pointed beak to take his head off. He ran at her, yelling and waving to scare her off. It worked a treat as she flapped haughtily and made her exit, creating a powerful undercurrent as she rose up vertically, scurrying in flight away to the roof and into her nest.
'Ianto! Are you okay?' Jack fell to his knees beside him.
Ianto waved off his concerns. 'I'm fine, sir.'
'What happened? She's never suddenly attacked like this before.'
He frowned. 'Attack? No, I think she was just after a snuggle.'
