Summary: Owen has his skepticism about Owen's medical prowess. A double drabble.
'Hold your hand out and keep it still,' Owen instructed, giving his patient a firm look that demanded compliance.
Ianto heaved a sigh and readjusted himself so he could lean his elbow on Owen's table, keeping it still without having to hold it up. It was already beginning to ooze blood again from the deep but short gash at the base of his thumb. Yet another occupational hazard of working in the archives with limited light. There were just too many sharp edges down there.
'Right, one last flush and then we'll glue it shut,' Owen said, setting a small squeeze bottle on the table beside him before irrigating the wound again, then carefully patting it dry.
'Glue? That's your brilliant medical solution to a cut? What happened to stitches and sticking plasters?' Honestly, they were supposed to be at the cutting edge of technology.
'It's medical grade glue, Owen huffed. It'll keep the wound together and sealed until it heals on its own. And it's a whole lot less invasive than stitches, unless of course you enjoy watching me stitch your skin back together.'
Ianto sighed. 'Fine. Glue it is, then. Just don't let me catch you adding glitter.'
