Summary: Ianto wants to spoil Jack but he and Owen may have a bit of a problem making that a reality. A double drabble.


'I still can't believe you're letting him have this,' Owen said, frowning at the large folded plastic monstrosity taking up half the floor of one of the hub's larger storage rooms. Fortunately, apart from the large plastic pile, it was otherwise empty.

'If Jack wants a bouncy castle for his birthday, then that's what he'll get,' Ianto replied, slowly unfolding it across the floor. 'Still going to take a few hours to get it fully inflated, though.'

'How'd you inflate it?'

Ianto pointed behind him. 'Generator hooks up to an air pump which hooks into a nozzle. Just have to find where the nozzle is,' he added, brow furrowing as he unfolded more and more of it. 'It's got to be here somewhere.'

'What? You mean they don't give you instructions as to where it goes in?'

Ianto rolled his eyes. 'Clearly the people who hire these are like Jack - all excitement and no thought for practicalities. Help me find it?'

Owen groaned but moved to help regardless. 'Just how big is this thing, anyway?'

'Biggest one they had. Only the best for our Captain.'

'Yeah, well if we don't find it soon he'll have to wait until next year.'
