Summary: The only thing worse than being sick, is being sick together. A double drabble.
Ianto grunted as Jack moved jarringly against his side. He'd been almost asleep - finally - putting to rest the spitting headache that had been driving him crazy for hours. As it was he had a spare pillow pushed up against Jack's side to spare him the worst of it, but nothing it seemed was going to prevent him from feeling Jack jostle sharply with every single cough. And there were plenty of those.
Stupid alien, he thought. If it hadn't sneezed on them when they'd been capturing it, they wouldn't have caught this stupid virus from it. For Ianto it was mainly aches and tiredness, but Jack had the full complement of sore throat, fever and hacking cough.
'Please try and sleep,' Ianto implored, mumbling the words with as much severity as he could muster. At least there was a chance he'd cough less if he was asleep.
'Can't,' Jack complained. 'Feel too awful.'
Ianto curled deeper into his pillows, trying to create a buffer. He'd have moved to the sofa if he thought he could find the energy to move. 'Well, you were the one who said we don't spend enough time away from work together.'
'Not what I meant.'
