Summary: Suzie doesn't feel peacekeeping is her strong suit. A double drabble.
'Okay,' Jack said. 'Suzie, you get to keep the peace between these two whilst Tosh and I get working on a distress signal so that someone can pick them up.'
Suzie's head turned from her boss back to the two aliens each cuffed and locked away in the cells. Being separated however hadn't stopped them from hurling insults across the hallway, loud and echoing in the dark concrete bunker. Truthfully, it was giving her a headache.
'Me? Why me?' What had she done to deserve this?
'Maybe because you're a heartless bitch unlikely to sympathise with either side?' Owen offered.
She scowled at him, wishing she'd never slept with him. He loved any opportunity to needle her since they'd stopped shagging. Who knew he was so bloody sensitive. 'Har har, Owen. It usually takes one to know one.'
Jack smirked. 'You're staying here too, Owen. I need them medically cleared before any passing transport ship will be willing to take them off our hands.'
'Super,' Owen grumbled as one alien yelled "Bargtrargler!" and the other yelled back "Your mother is a Snyffwhyffler!"
Jack rolled his eyes. 'Try not to kill them, or each other. You know I hate the paperwork.'
