Summary: Owen would do anything for a bit of peace. A double drabble.
'What does it take to get any peace around here?' Owen yelled out over the din, assuming anyone could hear him at all. If they did hear him, they didn't show it, carrying on like he wasn't even there.
Jack was in his office - with the door wide open - giving someone a piece of his mind. Poor sod from some other government department, no doubt, though it might have been a lowly assistant or the Prime Minister himself. Jack didn't tend to discriminate when he was in a mood.
Ianto had decided today was an excellent day to get out the high pressure hose and start cleaning down the water tower.
Myfanwy, like Owen, had taken issue with the disruption, and was now putting in her own two penny's worth, circling and squawking, though she probably thought it was a game.
Even Tosh wasn't helping, trying to fix some alien device that gave off random spurts of high-pitched wailing. She had foam earplugs in, so she didn't notice it.
Owen stomped back down the steps and tugged out one of his morgue trays, sat down on it and slid himself inside the claustrophobic space. Ah, peace and quiet at last!
