Summary: Ianto is definitely a catch, nbut that's proving problematic in the current situation. A double drabble.


Norton chased after Jack. 'Cooee! Don't mean to interrupt your murderous rampage but can we talk?'

'Busy trying to kill Ianto, right now,' Jack replied.

'He's quite a catch though, don't you think? I mean, he puts up with you for a start. That's got to count for something.'

Jack gave Norton a malevolent grin. 'Oh, I plan on catching him, alright. And when I do…'

'Yes, yes, yes…' Norton wearily replied. 'You'll kill him. I got that much the first time you said it. To be perfectly frank, after the tenth time I rather stopped listening. Now, I'm not saying don't kill Ianto, but have you paused to consider how bad you'll feel about it afterwards?'

The smile on Jack's face faltered for a split second. 'He means everything to me. That's why I have to kill him. To prove how much I love him.'

'Not to hang a lantern on it, old boy, but I rather think he knows that already. Killing him would be quite counter-productive to that effort.:

Jack's virus-induced maniacal smile returned. 'You don't understand, Norton. You never did.'

Norton rolled his eyes. 'No, I suppose I really didn't. Go on, then. Go kill Ianto.'
