Summary: Gwen and Ianto are getting out of puff. A double drabble.
'Why do I feel like I'm in a really bad remake of Speed?' Gwen complained, huffing and puffing as she tried to keep up with her teammate.
The pair of them were keeping up a steady jog so as not to trigger the alien explosive device between them. According to Jack, when it stopped sensing kinetic motion, it'd go boom in a big way. It was too heavy for either one of them to carry it alone, so now it was jostling happily between them as they tried to maintain rhythm, making a beeline for the hub.
'A Welsh version of Speed?' Ianto replied. 'You know that wouldn't work, don't you? In Wales, there wouldn't even be a bus, and if there was, it wouldn't just want to stop at the bus stops along the way. It'd have all the crazy Valleys locals wanting to make special requests for the bus to go other places and drop them off especially. Just think of the mutiny if it didn't.'
'Oh, shut up, would you and see if we can't jog any faster.'
'Still another five miles to the hub,' he reminded her. 'Probably best if we pace ourselves.'
'Great,' Gwen puffed.
