torchwood100Summary: Jack's mind is boggled by the tenacity of his former Torchwood One stalker. A double drabble.
Jack shook his head as he kept on walking along the quay, jogging up the steps to the Plass and hoping this wasn't the moment he made an arse of himself by tripping over his own feet as he hastily attempted to make his dramatic exit.
What was with that kid, anyway? First turning up in Bute Park to rescue him from a weevil capture gone awry, and now standing there just outside the supposedly secret entrance to the hub, holding a steaming hot cup of coffee. And how did you get coffee to stay hot like that? He could have been standing there an hour before Jack showed up. It was just weird. Not to mention absolutely delicious, but never mind that. A pity that the taste was still lingering on his tongue.
There was keen and then there was just plain crazy. Jack wasn't sure which box Ianto fit into yet. He was ex-Torchwood One. Jack supposed that made him crazy rather than keen. After what he'd been through, no one in their right mind would want back in.
Jack decided to just ignore it. The kid would get the hint, if he hadn't already, and just go.
