Summary: Tosh is annoyed at the results from her latest assignment. A double drabble.
Tosh couldn't find the words to describe how annoyed she was with Jack, having called her at five am and demanding that she come in.
Weird alien signals weren't uncommon, but she was always the one left to decipher them. She could appreciate being hauled out of bed when the world looked like it might end, but she was pretty sure this didn't qualify. Even more annoyingly, Jack wasn't anywhere to be found and there wasn't so much as a coffee to quell Tosh's bad mood. It was still way too early for even Ianto to be here. It was just Tosh and nobody else. They never got dragged in like this. It was always her that got the urgent calls.
After two hours of analysis she was even more annoyed. Their alien signal was nothing more than an intercept of Croatian satellite intelligence chatter. Not even alien at all.
Of course, there was no apology from Jack. Not even a thank you. Not as if he couldn't have run the same translation program she had.
Just for that she decided she'd take an extra long lunch break. Pizza and maybe even a beer. All on Jack's dime, of course.
