Summary: Welsh has never been Jack's strong suit. A double drabble.
Jack's head spun as he caught the less than dulcet strains of the slightly drunken horde piling out of the local rugby club. They were quickly ratcheting up from being shocked to annoyed to well and truly apoplectic as they followed him.
Not his fault that their beloved cup trophy from 1987 had started emitting neutron radiation. They should be thanking him that he was taking it off their hands. Unlike him, they wouldn't survive the massive dose of radiation he was going to get, holding it like this and driving it all that way back to Cardiff where it could be safely contained. It wasn't his favourite way to die, but the job sucked like that sometimes.
From the tone of their yelling, it wasn't gratitude they were serving him up.
'Hey! If you're gonna insult me, at least do it in a language I can understand!' he yelled back. 'Damn Welsh,' he muttered under his breath as he kept striding quickly towards the car before they could catch up with him.
'First one that gets to him break his fucking kneecaps!' Jack heard a beefy voice cry out.
Jack broke into a run. 'Now that's more like it!'
