drabble_zoneSummary: Jack is curious about Ianto's behaviour. A double drabble.
Jack rolled over in the bed feeling pleasurably sated by what could only be described as a crazy night. As he rolled over he came face to face with his bed companion, a man he'd never expected in his wildest dreams to be occupying the space.
'Not that I'm not grateful for being rescued, because I am,' Jack began, 'but I have to ask.'
Ianto arched an eyebrow at him as if lying in bed naked and chatting was just something they did all the time. 'What?'
'What kind of idiot steps through an alien portal, not knowing where it goes, who might be on the other side, and whether the hell they'll be able to get back home once they're on the other side?' Even Jack would think twice before attempting it. That was in his top ten rules of space travel, assuming you wanted to live to old age.
Ianto shrugged, looking embarrassed at having to explain himself. 'The kind who realised too late that none of us are perfect and we're all doing the best we can. You saved me from going through it and being trapped there. I only wished I'd done the same for you.'
