Summary: Andy is in for the full Torchwood experience. A double drabble.
'There she blows!' Jack cried out as he stayed hidden behind a desk as alien body parts flung in every direction, slapping the side. Once the chaos was over they all came out of hiding to survey the damage.
'What a mess,' Gwen said.
'A real clean-up job,' Jack agreed. 'Andy, she's all yours.'
Andy could barely suppress his grimace as he was handed a mop to begin the laborious task. 'I quit being a copper for this, you know!' he pronounced loudly to anyone who would listen.
'And just look at you now,' Jack replied. 'You got to see a rare species of alien spontaneously explode at the natural end of its life. That kind of thing doesn't happen every day. Not even for us.'
Andy stared dejectedly at the remains. 'And now I have to mop up all the exploded goopy bits.'
Jack clapped him on the shoulder. 'Rare species of alien, remember? Ianto would chop at the bit for that.'
Ianto set down the accompanying bucket that went with Andy's mop. 'Actually, I wouldn't, just so you know. It's this kind of thing that makes me think about quitting.'
Jack sighed dramatically. 'Rare alien! Appreciate it, people!'
