Summary: The line between work and play is sometimes blurred when you work for Jack. A double drabble.
Ianto growled under his breath as his computer screen went blank in the middle of updating his inventory of completed archive files. 'Jack! Get out here and stop hiding,' he commanded, knowing his boss was responsible for pulling the plug on his PC monitor. Jack knew better than to pull the plug on the actual computer lest Ianto was working on something that needed saving.
There was a bored groan from his lover as Jack emerged from the shadows. 'I called you hours ago and you ignored me.'
'I know.'
'You know what they say, Ianto. all work and no play…'
'Makes Jack grumpy. Yes, I know that, but if I don't finish updating this list it'll never get done,' he replied.
'Sure it will,' Jack assured him. 'It'll just get done tomorrow, or the day after that, or the day after that.'
'Or never, if you keep coming down here wanting to play instead of work.'
'Well, I'm the boss and you're my employee and at the end of the day you have to do what I say because that's how it works.'
'But if I'm being ordered around by my boss, isn't that work?'
'Ask me again afterwards.'
