torchwood100Summary: Jack is trying to make the most of a bad situation. A double drabble.
Jack found it impossible not to leer at his teammate as he or, more to the point, she, walked in carrying a tray of coffees. How it was being achieved in four inch pump heels was commendable. Coffee had never been so sexy, and that was saying something.
‘Have you considered a mini skirt?’ Jack said, reaching for his mug.
Ianto very nearly swiped the tray out from under him, his look one of barely concealed fury plastered onto a perfect face that just needed a hint of lipstick.
‘Oh, lighten up Ianto. Can’t I crack a joke?’
‘Considering I'm missing some vital bits of genitalia, no,’ came the curt reply.
‘You know this is temporary, right? I fully support needing to rectify this.’
Ianto pouted, which really didn't have the requisite effect. Jack certainly wasn’t having any joy in getting him to crack a smile and show off those perfect teeth. ‘I have my doubts about that,’ he replied.
‘All I'm saying is those gorgeous legs are going to waste in baggy pants. If you’ve got them, flaunt them.’
‘Like I need any more reasons for Gwen to hate me,’ he muttered. ‘Besides, who exactly benefits from that?
‘Well…’
