torchwood100Summary: Ianto is well and truly caught up in his work.
It was hard not to snigger as Owen and Jack finally found their teammate after fifteen minutes of navigating the archive’s labyrinth shelves. Small wonder he hadn’t answered their calls on his comms unit. He couldn't even reach his head to activate it because his hands were tucked close at his sides.
‘What the hell happened to you?’ Jack asked, unable to keep the smile from his face as he tried to find the end of the ancient crate netting that Ianto was tangled up in.
‘Well, let’s see,’ Ianto said, ‘first my foot got caught in the bottom of it, and that tripped me up, and then as it was trying to get my foot out of it, part of it latched around my wrist, and then… Well, the more I tried to get myself out, the more it ended up getting myself tied up in knots. I don't know why the Victorians bothered with netting their crates. Did they think the crates would escape on their own?’
Owen groaned as he began trying to assist Jack with the mammoth task of disentangling Ianto. ‘Bloody hell, this is going to take ages.’
‘Well, you could just cut me out.’
