Summary: Jack doesn't need clothes in order to be the hero. A double drabble.
‘Here, take this,’ Jack said, thrusting his coat at his teammate without preamble. It was fortunate Ianto was accustomed to the action, catching in one swift motion and draping it neatly over his arm as he watched Jack tug off a boot, then a sock.
‘You just can’t help getting undressed at every possible opportunity, can you?’ he commented, doing nothing to stop Jack and getting some mild level of enjoyment from watching him disrobe, even if they were meant to be on the clock. Admittedly, their quarry had just jumped into the Taff river to get away, but was doing a very good impression of something that didn’t know how to swim. One of them was going to have to go in there and rescue it. Better it be Jack. If it decided not to be grateful, at least Jack couldn’t be killed permanently.
‘Don’t want these getting wet,’ Jack said, flinging his trousers at Ianto in much the same way. ‘I know how you complain. Besides, you know me; never let clothes get in the way of saving the day.’
Ianto shook his head. ‘However many times you say it, that’s never going to be Torchwood's official motto.’
