Summary: Owen rarely has to deal with dead victims more than once, but Suzie if proving the exception. A double drabble.

A shiver went down Owen's spine as he unzipped the body bag in the underground mortuary, preparing it for what would hopefully be its final resting place. Of course he'd thought that before, and then Suzie had turned the tables on all of them, conning them into bringing her back.

It was different this time. At least half her head wasn't missing - blown apart by the suicidal gunshot. All the damage was lower down, where Jack's bullets riddled her torso. Even now Owen wasn't one hundred percent confident that she was dead for good this time. Suzie Costello defied death.

‘I really did wonder sometimes if you were a crazy bitch,’ he said, addressing the corpse as he removed its clothes. He'd done that before too, both when she'd been alive and dead. There were no qualms about it this time. No dignity to be preserved. ‘Guess now we know. God knows this place will screw you up, but you win first prize. Cold-hearted in life, cold-hearted in death.’

‘Owen?’ Jack called out, striding toward him.

‘Just getting her prepped.’

Jack gave a similar shudder as he looked at her. ‘Clean her up and then leave the rest to me.’

Suzie was never the same once she'd touched the glove.
