Summary: Ianto finally feels totally justified in his actions. A double drabble.
Ianto rolled his eyes at Jack, even with the gun pointed so threateningly at his head. He didn't care if that incensed Jack even more. How dare he accuse Ianto of lying and keeping things hidden from the team. As if the rest of them didn't lie all the time, with Jack being the biggest liar of them all.
Ianto had worked his way through enough of the archive files to know Jack was keeping more secrets than anyone. Ianto already had his suspicions about just how long Jack had worked here. Reports went back a hundred years. Either he could travel in time or… well, he didn't know what else could explain it, but either way, Jack was lying to them.
Maybe keeping Lisa hidden in the basement had been a bad idea, but who could he trust with the truth other than himself? Didn't Jack's hidden history just prove that lying was the only way to keep her safe?
He wouldn't let Jack bait him into apologising for what he'd done. They'd done nothing to help the few lucky survivors of Canary Wharf. He'd been on his own back then. He'd fix this on his own as well.
